Well...if I break it down into quarters...it doesn't make me sound that late posting this, or does it? Ha!
Ironically we have each of our kids' birthdays fall into different quarters of the year. I really like that. It wasn't something planned {we all know how that goes} but spacing out the work that comes with each party is really convenient. So ( +/ - mom and dad's b-days as celebrating old age is not as fun as kid b-days!!), and that means more time to do a birthday post...since around here they are flying by! Just a few more weeks...and the 2nd qtr birthday is here..yikes...although I have been planning ahead for it!
Well, so this may be a bit belated, but it was a week of fun birthday memories for Jordan:
One big party just didn't happen this year with schedules, and illness, and everything-of-the-like leading up to Easter weekend...however the girl lucked out...because that resulted in 8 mini-birthday dates. Now let's see...one big party or eight small parties...hmmm...I think I'd take the latter too..oh to be eight again ;)
Birthday week was one of fabulous March weather {rare folks}...so we took advantage of that.
Red Robin date with Great-Grandma!
Her favorite part was being sung to.
...followed by some play time in the park...good idea Grandma!
A mini-celebration mid-week with some aunts, uncles + one cousin = butterfly cupcakes - Jordi style.
The birthday girl took {by request} 2 dozen sprinkle donuts for snack!
Easter Sunday we added a Happy belated b-day to you with more cousins hopping in!
During Spring Break {a previously ill} Gma & Gpa also came out to celebrate your

More great grandparents came out to wish you a happy day...you are blessed!

Another mini-b-day date with another Great Gma and 2nd cousin.
It's very hard to believe you are "8" already Jordi Bug.
Some noteworthy stats {for mom} to remember:
You're reading books like crazy. Just can't keep enough of them in the house!
You still like your dolls (and mom's still liking that ;).
You're a great friend to all your friends that come from all walks of life.
You are very humble and like to sit with the kids that don't have friends. I am touched by your compassion for others.
You create things I have never even dreamed of. So much so...the table downstairs on any give day belongs to you with all of your creations and ideas and visions with all your art supplies. No lie...there's times I wish you had the type A ability to clean up, but I realize this is who God has made you and you are beautiful both inside and out. We love inspiring you to be who God's called you to be.
You prefer to be outside, chasing butterflies {literally with your new net}, collecting new bugs for your jar, picking flowers, reading a book, riding your bike, dancing Irishly, or playing at the swing set or tree house.
You're always up for an interactive game with mom or dad.
You're HALF-WAY to your sweet-sixteen and that's MIND-BLOWING for me! Hope these next 8 years are just as sweet.
Love you Jordi-bug!

Looks like so much fun!
