We gave it a good spray with the hose.

+ 2 bottles of Krylon in Peacock Blue 

This part was actually a lot of fun to watch it transform colors right before my eyes.

Warning: Don't try to spray standing upside down and facing the wind - you might forget which way the paint is blowing...I think my glasses saved my eye sight!
