For five years, Andrew Caleb you have rocked our world and hold a special place in our hearts. Andrew means: manly, warrior and strong. Caleb means: faithful, devotion, whole hearted, bold & brave. Wow! I can't think of a better affirmation from God that He knit you together before we even knew you! You're 110% boy, and devoted to playing with all your might. You are very strong for your age! You still plan to play basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs when you grow up ;)...and you still have a mean shot (for a 5 yr old). You boldly love Jesus and for standing up for what is right. He has put a passion on your heart for prayer and service, may that follow you all the days of your life.

This year you are all about dinosaurs!  Plain irony that the toys they play with most are sometimes the cheap things that come from Happy Meals. After receiving a Teradon from McDonald's, well, the rest is history. You began to know and understand dinosaur names like they are your second language, and playing with them, and reading about them. Obviously you are a trend-setter too, because nobody in this family has cared a lick about dinosaurs bud! Along with all sports, you still like motorcycles, dirt bikes, guns, and watching the sports right along with dad.

These are the only two other boys in his pre-K class. They've all bonded {tight!}


He fell in love with his frog head-flashlight that came via parcel post...

...so much so that he wouldn't remove it, not even for pictures!

 Yes...48 hrs later we are still wearing the frog flashlight!!! 
I had to take it off after he fell asleep :)

...and turning 5 means he's eligible for his birthday date with Grandmalene!
